The NEW parenting rules

Parents in 2020 is certainly different than it was for our parents and grandparents.

A new survey in Daily Express asked today’s parents what rules they need to set to keep their kids safe in our modern world…the most common ones:

  • Never text or send other people inappropriate pictures
  • Don’t click links in an email if you aren’t sure who sent it to you
  • Don’t give out your address online
  • Ask for permission before you make in-app or in-game purchases
  • Never call 911 as a joke
  • Don’t accept invites on gaming platforms from people you don’t know
  • Don’t let anyone follow you on social media that you don’t know
  • Don’t enter your email on a website without asking permission first
  • Never type anything in a text message you wouldn’t want your parents to read
  • Don’t talk or message with people you don’t know

These are good rules for everyone, not just kids…what ones would you add?
