Do you leave a voicemail when you can’t reach someone?
According to a new book about 21st century phone etiquette, that’s a no-no!
In her new book “Kill Reply All: A Modern Guide to Online Etiquette”, Victoria Turk says there’s “no purpose for voicemails in the modern age” and having to sit through one is “super inefficient and inconvenient.”
She told the NY Post that if someone doesn’t pick up, just hang up and send them a text instead.
She also says “spur-of-the-moment” phone calls are also considered rude…instead you should text them first and ask if they want to talk on the phone.
