The perfect amount of “down time”

It’s a phrase we’re all in touch with these days: Life/work balance.

There have been many studies on how much of your time you should spend resting and relaxing versus doing non-relaxing stuff like work, commuting, parenting, errands and housework.

Stylist says the number is…42%!

Your body and mind need at least that much time off to help you recharge and to avoid burning out…or just over 10 hours a day?

Impossible, right?

Hang on a moment…if you can sleep eight hours a day, that leaves you just two hours for everything from eating to exercise to your social life.

Here’s even better news:  You can spread it out over a longer period of time, too!

Over the course of a week, 42% of your time is 70-and-a-half hours and again, that includes sleep…so find out how many hours of sleep you get on average and calculate your relaxation time…you can do it!
