Want more energy? Try this!

Feeling run-down and tired lately?

Who isn’t?

Here’s some ways to jump start your day from HuffPost:

Listen to Faith Hill…just breathe!  By closing your eyes and focusing on your breath, you can slow yourself down and start your day more relaxed.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!  Many experts recommend drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning, even if you’re not thirsty. Coffee counts, but make sure you get enough water, too.

Pick things up and put them down!  Exercise first thing in the morning (if you can) and you may find you’re more active throughout the day, too.

Eat something, would ya?  Don’t skip breakfast…and make sure you’re eating enough.  A breakfast high in protein and healthy fats can help you keep your energy levels up throughout the day.

Can I call you back?  When you check your phone or email first thing in the morning, you let someone else dictate the start of your day.  If you’re having trouble setting boundaries with your phone, this is a good place to start!

What helps you get up every morning?
