You may have heard of mental health hotlines like the suicide prevention number 988, but there’s also “warm” ones, too, according to Huff Post.
These “warmlines” are similar to hotlines but can be used for when things aren’t so serious or urgent…for example when you just need to talk to someone.
There’s even a directory of them at Warmline.
They’re usually run by trained volunteers who’ve dealt with their own issues in the past…people who can relate and know what you’re going through.
