What are our “lost skills”?

When was the last time you opened up a map…or picked up a good book (an actual book, not your Kindle)?

A new list of our “lost skills and hobbies” is making the rounds…most because of technology and modern conveniences.

The #1 skill we’ve lost is writing letters followed by map reading, knowing proper grammar, mental math, remembering phone numbers, using a compass, handwriting, handwashing clothes, making a fire from scratch and stamp collecting.

Other lost skills included sewing, knitting, spelling, preserving and making food, pottery-making and reading.

What are some of the skills you don’t use anymore?
