What not to do with mail-in ballots

More Americans will be voting early and by mail than in any other election in recent memory…in Georgia over 120,000 residents showed up on the first day to cast their ballot.

If you’re planning on voting by mail, there’s one thing you shouldn’t do…disinfect your ballot.

KRCA-TV in Sacramento County, California says voting officials have received over 100 mail-in ballots that were damaged by disinfectant and alcohol spray…one had even been microwaved!

They’re sending out new ballots to those who sent in an unreadable one and reassured voters that the ballots they’ve received in the mail to use are safe.

Are you planning to mail in your ballot or go to the polls?
