Mornings with Dave & Jen

What NOT to wear to work

On days like today, we tend to dress down a bit at work…if we can!

A new SWNS poll found 57% of us think traditional office clothes will eventually be phased out…and 23% think it’s already happening.

Certain things are still seen as too casual for work, though.

In fact, the #1 most inappropriate thing to wear to work is the same for men and women…gym clothes! (The days of work-from-home athleisure are over it seems!)

Also for women, any top that looks too much like a bra is a no-no followed by crop tops, Crocs and flip-flops…hotpants and tube tops just missed the top five.

For men they shouldn’t wear cycling gear to the office, nor flip-flops, overalls or Crocs…casual T’s, short shorts and Christmas sweaters also made the list.

If you’re wearing a Christmas sweater with Crocs and short shorts today, your HR Director would like to see you in their office…and so would the Fashion Police!
