What’s “face yoga”?

There are all kinds of yoga…hot yoga, cold yoga, goat yoga…and just plain ol’ yoga!

Have you heard of “face yoga”?

A study at Northwestern University found certain facial exercises can build up your face muscles…and after about five months, the average woman looked almost THREE YEARS younger!

They did them 30 minutes a day for the first two months then every OTHER day after that.

Here’s two to try:

The Cheek Lifter  Make an “O” shape with your mouth so your top lip is folded over your front teeth then smile with the corners of your mouth over and over again.

The Eyebrow Lifter  Put three fingertips from each hand directly under your eyebrows and push up to force your eyes open.  Then smile while pushing your eyebrows down against your fingers, hold it for 20 seconds and do it three times.

The Chicago Tribune has more complicated ones…but don’t overdo it…that could cause the opposite effect…wrinkles!
