What’s in a (baby) name?

Expecting a baby soon? Congratulations!

Now for the big part…what do you call him (or her)?

Quartz discovered that parents invented more than 1000 new baby names last year.

Unfortunately not all of the them are unique.

The most popular new name was Camreigh…91 parents gave their kids that name…followed by Asahd (after DJ Khaled’s son born in 2016) and Taishmara, most likely named after internet “celebrity” Taishmara Rivera.

Other “one-of-a-kind” entries include Kashdon, Draxler, Noctis, Ledgen, Miraclle (NOT a typo…with two “Ls”) and Cersei…though if you follow “Game Of Thrones” you may want to choose a different one than that!

What’s your bundle of joy going to be called?
