When do kids start “pushing back” against their parents?
When they become teenagers!
A new survey found that they begin to rebel at age 13, on average.
That’s when most parents say they started having trouble keeping tabs on their kids and had to start GUESSING if they were up to anything bad (or dangerous).
Of course, it can start earlier…10% said they started doing their own thing by age 10!
Sixty percent of parents with teenagers said controlling them is a lot harder than it used to be.
The top thing they worry about? Whether or not they’re eating healthy.
The most common health-related arguments parents and teens have include eating more fruits and vegetables, drinking less soda, eating too many sweets and not wanting to sit down for family dinners.
