When do you turn on the A/C?

The heat’s coming back to the Finger Lakes this weekend.

How hot does it have to get before you stop worrying about the electric bill and turn on the air conditioning?

Not very, according to a new survey…40% said they start using their A/C before it hits 80 outside!

Another 17% wait until the low 80s…15% said 83 to 86 and 10% said 87 to 90.

An incredible 1% wait until it’s over 100 degrees out!

BTW 3% do it when it’s less than 67 degrees out…and young people are four times more likely than older people to crank it at that temperature.
