When is it OK to call someone? ☎️

We’re not “phone averse”…we just never pick it up or (God forbid!) actually make a phone call.

Seems we’re not alone.

A recent poll found 23% of people under 35 NEVER answer the phone, either…in fact, adults spend just five-and-a-half minutes a day on the phone now (which, frankly, seems high).

There are times, though, when a phone call is OK, including:

  • For a catch up
  • Bad news, like a death in the family or a health diagnosis
  • GOOD news, like “We’re pregnant!” or “We’re getting married!”
  • To support someone who’s going through a tough time
  • To wish some “Happy Birthday!”
  • When you’re running late and you CAN’T (like driving)
  • Calling in sick to work
  • When you’re lost and can’t find anyone

When do you use the phone?
