When will your stimulus check arrive?

The government has approved an unprecedented $4 TRILLION stimulus package to help Americans get through the Coronavirus crisis…how much will you get and when will you get it?

Single taxpayers who earn less than $75,000 a year in adjusted gross income will get a $1200 check…couples making $150,000 or less combined will get $2400 plus an additional $500 per child.

If you had your refund direct deposited to your bank for your 2018 or 2019 tax returns, you should receive a deposit from the government during the week of April 13.

If you don’t have your banking information on file with the IRS, they’re launching a website that will allows taxpayers to submit their direct deposit information…this covers those who don’t normally file a tax return because of low or no income and Social Security recipients if they have not already done so.

If you’d rather have a hard copy check, that will take a little longer…they won’t start issuing them until May 4…and for some that could take up to 20 weeks.

CNN has more details.
