Which is safer…contacts or eyeglasses? 🤓

Eyeglass styles have come a long way since the horned-rim days…still, there are people who prefer contact lenses.

Which is safer these days?

First, there’s no proof yet that eyeglasses offer any real protection from Coronaviruses, according to CNN.

But you may still want to switch to them anyway…because wearing glasses discourages you from touching you face, which we’re ALL trying hard not to do!

The American Academy of Ophthalmology says we touch our face a LOT less when we’re wearing glasses than when we’re not.

Sure, you touch your glasses when you take them on and off or to adjust them…but there’s less eye-rubbing, face-scratching, and face-touching when you’re wearing glasses.

Just make sure to keep washing your hands…regularly!
