Thinking about adopting a dog this Christmas or in the New Year?
It can be great for your kids if you do!
A new study from the University of British Columbia discovered that children tend to read more, and be more engrossed in what they’re reading, when a dog is in the room!
The 8-9 year olds read more pages, felt more interested in what they were reading and were more likely to want to KEEP reading just because a dog was present.
Other studies have found similar results…they think perhaps having a dog around keeps them calm and helps them focus.
Who’s a good boy?
