Are you Team Creamy or Crunchy?

Are you Team Creamy or Team Crunchy?

Maybe it depends on the day!

Jif did a big survey for “National Peanut Butter Lovers Day” coming up Monday a next Monday and here are some highlights:

Do you prefer your PB creamy or crunchy? We’re split right down the middle…50/50!

Also a third of us are “extremely” passionate about that preference…in fact, 63% would rather have NO peanut butter than the kind they don’t like!

People who prefer creamy are more likely to be judged for it, BTW.

Half of creamy fans have felt the shame before, compared to a third of people who like crunchy…and perhaps because of that, creamy fans are also more likely to pretend to like the other kind, just to fit in.

Yes…there really is peanut butter peer pressure!

“Creamies” are more likely to describe themselves as early birds and introverts while “Crunchies” are more likely to be night owls and extroverts and slightly more optimistic.

And almost half of people in the survey said it would be a “deal-breaker” if the person they were dating was on the opposite side of the creamy/crunchy debate!

Oh…BTW…35% of us eat it (creamy OR crunchy) straight out of the jar…no shame in that!
