Dining “dos” and “don’ts”

Having trouble getting a second dinner date?

Maybe it’s because of how you acted during the first one!

Here’s the table manners everyone can agree on, according to a new poll:

  • Wash your hands before you sit down to eat
  • Don’t talk with your mouth full
  • Don’t slurp your food or your drink
  • Chew with your mouth closed
  • Don’t make noises with your utensils
  • Do make conversation…don’t just sit there in silence and eat
  • Put your napkin on your lap
  • No burping
  • Don’t play with your food
  • Don’t eat too fast

Others mentioned were no reaching across the table, don’t talk over people, no phones, elbows off the table, licking your fingers and picking your teeth.

How many do you do? 🤔
