Foods to bring to summer outings

Heading to a summer pool party and not sure what to bring?

Eater has thoughts!

Heading to the pool or beach?  Fresh cut fruit is perfect because it’s yummy, cold and helps replenish lost sugars and hydration.

Going to an outdoor concert?  Go for low-maintenance foods like a hoagie or wrap and opt for canned beverages versus big glass bottles.

Invited to a picnic?  Everybody thinks to pack their own basket but takeout food like sandwiches or a bucket of fried chicken is really underrated…bring those and you’ll be the picnic BOSS!
