What day during the holidays can be hazardous to your health?

The day Santa delivers your presents…Christmas Eve!

A new study from the British Medical Journal in MarketWatch found the risk of having a heart attack goes up almost 40% on December 24th, especially in the elderly.

Why?  Researchers think it’s because the stress and anxiety of the season finally catches up with us.

Harmful algal blooms confirmed on Cayuga Lake

According to the Cayuga County Health Department, two harmful algal blooms (HABs) were confirmed on the northeastern section of Cayuga Lake this week.
