The rise in children’s blood pressure

A health alert for parents:  Cases of high blood pressure in children have doubled over the last two decades!

According to People, around 114 million kids worldwide are dealing with high blood pressure due to obesity, sedentary behavior and exposure to environmental pollutants.

Researchers believe that high blood pressure in children can be caught in time so that it doesn’t get worse as they age so make sure your pediatrician takes their pressure when they get a physical…and get a home monitor to track it yourself!
