ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — BorgWarner is delaying the partial closure of their campus in Lansing.

Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce President Jennifer Tavares says the company won’t shut down one of their production facilities until 2026.

BorgWarner was originally going to close that plant next year while maintaining the rest of their Lansing operations. Tavares adds over 70% of existing employment levels will be retained.
