CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — More trees are coming to Main Street in Cortland.

Landscape and Design Commission Chair Mike Dexter says there’ll be lots of variety.

“We’ll probably have five or six, possibly seven different species of trees on Main Street, as opposed to having strictly locust trees that were taken down before the construction began,” he says.

Dexter adds landscaping will happen next year.
