Ithaca Common Council to set duties for city manager

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca Common Council will hold a special meeting Wednesday evening about the city manager position. 

City officials plan to clarify the role and duties of the city manager before the search and hiring process can begin later this year. Also during tomorrow’s Committee of the Whole meeting, voting procedures and roles in the city’s budget process will also be established.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall. Another Committee of the Whole meeting is scheduled for June 14.
