ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — More parking spots are coming to an Ithaca neighborhood.

Crews are reconstructing the 400 block of Oak Avenue. Once the work is over, there’ll be seven new spots for cars.

City officials might designate the spaces as residential permit parking. Transportation Engineer Erin Cuddihy says without the designation, the spots would likely be used by Cornell students and staff.

In related news, the Ithaca Farmers Market will upgrade its parking lot.
