Marathon aims to make village buildings more secure

MARATHON, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Village of Marathon is looking to increase security at its offices.

Mayor Scott Chamberlain tells WHCU several buildings are being looked at, such as garages for the Department of Public Works.

He adds more security is necessary, “in light of what’s going on in the rest of the world.”
