ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The City of Ithaca is switching out water meters.

Alderperson Pierre Saint-Perez says the process will benefit data collection.

“It should actually really help in terms of our ability to accurately determine how much water is being consumed effectively,” he says.

Saint-Perez adds the city shares infrastructure with the Town of Ithaca.
