ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Reports of gun shots Friday in Ithaca have police searching for information.

Authorities say multiple witnesses called 911 about hearing shots fired around 1:45 Friday morning around West Court Street and Washington Park and vehicles speeding away. When officers arrived, they were unable to find physical evidence of a shooting or any victims.

Last week, officers couldn’t find evidence of a shooting at the intersection of West Buffalo Street and North Geneva Street.
