ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Proctor & Gamble has recalled more than 8 million bags of laundry detergent packets.

According to the manufacturer, the resealable bag zippers are defective and can expose children and vulnerable people to ingestion hazards. Proctor & Gamble recommends storing the pods in another container and storing them in an area where children cannot access them.  The recall applies to 8.2 million specific Tide, Gain, Ace, and Ariel bags sold nationwide between September 2023 through the present.
