HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Chemung County man awaits his day in court.

Chemung County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 28-year-old Semachia McDuffie, of Corning, on Saturday, July 22, 2023, after an investigation into a stolen motorcycle report from the State of Virginia. McDuffie is charged with misdemeanors of criminal impersonation and possession of stolen property. He will appear in Horseheads Village Court at a later date.

During his arrest, authorities found McDuffie had active warrants from the City of Elmira Police Department and is also a New York State Parole Absconder. McDuffie is being held in Chemung County Jail with no bail.
