Warning issued for five pound bag of flour sold at ALDI

ITHACA, NY (WHCU) – The Rhode Island Department of Health’s issued a warning saying bags of Baker’s Corner All Purpose Flour, which is sold at ALDI, may be contaminated with E. coli.

Ithaca and Cortland have Aldi stores. Others are found in Painted Post, Vestal, Horseheads, Elmira and Corning.

Food Safety News reports the presence of the bacteria was found during testing at the health department’s lab. The bags in question are five pounds with a lot code of L18A02B and have a best ‘if used by date’ of December 2nd, this year.

Only the five-pound bags have been affected.

Anyone who has this product’s recommended to toss it.
