Waverly man facing felony for alleged parole violations

WAVERLY, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Tioga County man awaits his day in court.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Definis, of Waverly, on Monday, July 31, for allegedly trying to acquire a weapon. Investigators say the 37-year-old violated four conditions of his probation. Definis is charged with felony attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He’s being held in Tioga County Jail with no bail.
