CAROLINE, N.Y. (WHCU) — Conversations about zoning continue in the town of Caroline.

Despite the town’s zoning commission releasing a final report in March, Town Supervisor Mark Witmer says it’s still a big undertaking.

Witmer adds the town will keep having that discussion.

“We’re constantly looking at that kind of thing,” Witmer continued. “It’s the balance between protection and property rights, so we want to do something that really works well.”

The town held a special meeting about zoning on Monday.
