ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Two men are charged in a drug and weapons investigation in Ithaca.
Police say officers used two separate search warrants at two different apartments in the Asteri building early Thursday morning. 28-year-old Taymel Harris and
25-year-old Daquan Hopkins were arrested.
According to a news release from IPD, Harris, who lives in Brooklyn, absconded from parole and was taken to jail. Illegal guns were allegedly found in both residences.
Harris is charged with “Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree, a Class C Felony and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree, a class D Felony,” according to IPD.
