Binghamton Black Bears extend lease at downtown arena

BINGHAMTON, NY (607NewsNow) — Binghamton’s professional hockey team will remain in the city.

The Black Bears have extended their lease at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena. The lease runs through the 2029-2030 season.

“Downtown Binghamton is proud to host our Black Bears for years to come,” Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham said on Facebook.

Binghamton has won three consecutive championships in the Federal Prospects Hockey League.
