ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Community Arts Partnership (CAP) is looking for writers and artists for their Spring Writes Literary Festival this year.

The Spring Writes Literary Festival includes 40 events with over 100 participating writers. Live events in downtown Ithaca for the Spring Writes Literary Festival will take place from May 7th to 10th, over Zoom from May 13th to 31st, and workshops live and over Zoom from July to September of 2026.

Writers can propose and organize events such as panels, readings, workshops, performances or happenings as “Event Organizers.” Individuals can also apply to be part of one of many group readings that CAP organizes.

Although Tompkins County artists and writers are a priority, CAP is also accepting applications from those outside Tompkins County. Middle school, high school and college students are all encouraged to apply.
