ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – There’s a new leader at Cornell.

On August 1, Kyle Kimball was appointed as Vice President of University Relations by the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees.

According to the Cornell Chronicle, Kimball comes from New York University, where he served as VP of government relations and community engagement. He fills the position left vacant by Joel Malina, who retired earlier this year. Cornell President Michael Kotlikoff thanked Monica Yant Kinney, who has served as interim VP since January.

Kimball will begin on September 15.
