CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – No injuries reported after an accidental fire in Cortland.

On September 9, the Cortland Fire Department responded to Clinton Avenue just before 8 a.m. for a reported blaze in a pickup truck.

Crews were able to contain the fire to the truck bed, where it originated.

Investigators say the fire started after exhaust fumes from a generator the truck owner was operating ignited combustible materials in the truck bed.
