CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Cortland Police have identified the body of a man discovered earlier this week in the city.

Authorities say 41-year-old Eric King was found unresponsive on Pendleton Street just before noon on December 23. King appeared to have been lying down outdoors at the location for several hours. King’s identity was initially withheld pending the notification of his family.

Cortland PD reiterates that no foul play is suspected, and the cause of death is still under investigation.
