Cortlandville extends temporary ban on solar energy systems

CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — A moratorium in Cortlandville will continue.

On March 18, the Cortlandville Town Board unanimously agreed to extend a temporary ban on approving new solar energy permits. The ban will expire May 22.

Cortlandville lawmakers originally approved the moratorium on Oct. 1. Roughly two weeks later, the Richford Town Board approved a similar ban.
