ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Registration is open for the fourth annual Daffodil Dash on Saturday, April 25th at Cass Park.

The Ithaca Garden Club and the Ithaca Children’s Garden invite the community to run, walk, or stroll along the paved course at Cass Park while enjoying 180,000 blooming daffodils they have planted with the proceeds of past events. This year’s Daffodil Dash will fund daffodils at Stewart Park, with last year’s funds being used to plant 70,000 at the Cayuga Medical Center.

Flowers were purchased with funding from donors and dash participants and planted with the help of volunteers from the Ithaca Parks Department, the Ithaca Garden Club, and the Ithaca Beautification Brigade, along with Cornell University’s incredible planting equipment.\
