ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A new ice cream spot could be coming to the Ithaca area.

Dairy One Cooperative has proposed a walk-up ice cream window at its Warren Road location.

Earlier this summer, the Village of Lansing Planning Board approved a special low-traffic food and beverage permit for the farm-testing and agricultural data company.

The approval included conditions that must be satisfied before a building permit is issued. Site work, stormwater management, and infrastructure plans must be approved by village officials, and all applicable permits must be obtained.

Additionally, Dairy One has agreed to install approximately 300 feet of sidewalk along Warren Road.

While the project has received planning board approval, no construction timeline has been announced.
