Fatal e-bike crash under investigation in Dryden

DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – A fatal collision is under investigation in the Village of Dryden.

On September 3, authorities say 50-year-old Matthew Adams, of Dryden, was riding an e-bike on the sidewalk around 1:30 p.m. near the North Street and Lee Road intersection.

Adams hit the side of a dump truck traveling through the intersection.

WSYR-TV reports Adams was airlifted to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
