IHS graduation is a ‘celebratory’ event, superintendent says

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — It’s graduation day at Ithaca High School.

Seniors will receive their diplomas this evening at 5:30 p.m. Ithaca City School District Superintendent Dr. Luvelle Brown said graduation is a “celebratory” opportunity for the community.

“Our young people are finishing their high school careers and moving on to new and fun things,” Brown said during a recent appearance on 607 This Morning.

Today’s ceremony will take place at Moresco Stadium. Skies are expected to be partly cloudy during the festivities.
