ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca College could see better cell phone service.

The Ithacan reports the school is close to finalizing a deal with Verizon. Casey Kendall, the deputy chief information officer and associate vice president of applications and infrastructure at the college, said the contract has already passed through the school’s legal review process.

Verizon must give the OK before new antennas are built around campus.
