ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – An Ithaca man is charged with multiple sex crimes.
On September 3, Ithaca Police responded to the Seneca Street Parking Garage around 4 p.m. for a report of an adult and a juvenile engaging in sexual acts. Officers located the suspect, 31-year-old Zacariah Waite, and arrested him without incident. The victim is 13 years old.
Waite is charged with sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, and public lewdness, all misdemeanors. The investigation is ongoing. The Ithaca Police Department is asking anyone who has information or who believes they may be a victim of Waite to come forward.
