Ithaca man awaits extradition to Florida after arrest

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – An Ithaca resident awaits extradition to Florida.

On February 18, Tompkins County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Probation Department on West State Street in Ithaca around 2:15 p.m. for a man who is wanted in the Sunshine State.

The individual was identified as 65-year-old Harry Dean, who has a full extraditable warrant in Monroe County, Florida, for a probation violation. He was taken into custody as a fugitive from justice and transported to Tompkins County Jail.

Dean will remain in custody until his transport to Florida.
