ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — K-HOUSE Karaoke and Arts Hub is set to open February 17th, 2026 at 121 W Martin Luther King Jr Street inside the historic Exchange Building, longtime home of The Watershed and The Downstairs.

Founder Alina Kim says the goal of the move is preserving the creative spirit of the establishment while building something new. Karaoke, live music, food, and arts programming will all be offered at the new location.

Karaoke will run seven nights a week starting at 4:00 p.m. as well as open mics, community events, and private rentals. Room K, the former space of The Downstairs, will host intimate live music performances and private events for up to 60 people.

Cafe partner Farm to Feast NY will feature locally roasted coffee, shokupan, ramen, and other dishes built around local ingredients. Initial café hours are scheduled for Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with brunch programming on weekends.

Partnering with local venues, K-HOUSE is expanding private karaoke rentals through a new Pop-Up Club that keeps karaoke available to those in the community while reinvesting in various small businesses in the area.
