Minor injuries after rollover crash in Virgil

VIRGIL, NY (607NewsNow) – Everyone is okay after a highway crash in Cortland County.

On April 5, deputies were called to I-81 in the Town of Virgil just before 4 p.m. for a box truck rollover.

According to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, the truck was traveling north when it left the roadway, struck a guard rail, and overturned in the ditch. Both the roof and rear door of the truck were damaged, spilling the contents on the roadside.

Two people were evaluated for minor injuries at the scene.
