The event invites residents to share their stories, hear expert testimony, and contribute to shaping the Commission’s recommendations to address the lasting impacts of slavery and systemic racism in New York.

The hearing is free and open to the public and will be located at the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center. All voices are welcome, and community participation is vital to advancing racial justice and reconciliation across the state.
